The premise for the rest of the book is that we are wounded by our fathers in some way that then rest of the book shows how God can heal the wound. Does the wound dominate our lives? Was Jesus wounded? Does everyone have the wound? What does it look like when our wound is healed? Is this just a set up for more counseling?
